To begin with, Author Adriana Rubio is a Freelance Investigative Journalist and, as such, wants you to know that many of what it is reported by some media people as true facts, rarely reflect the accuracy of such affirmations. In most cases they want people watch, read and listen to what THEY want by posting or giving the news the way THEY want people to know, so we just believe anything other than what it has been told without taking into account that we have the right to ask questions!

The events that surrounded Jim Morrison death in Paris back in July 1971 are as hard to believe as he is alive in the Pacific Northwest. Additionally, Chapter 7 from the "Jim Morrison Ceremony" book is still upsetting people. There's something wrong here and that is what encouraged Journalist Adriana Rubio to search for evidence to reveal the truth once and for all whether the Oregon Cowboy is the real Jim Morrison or not.

We want to make clear that in ANY way Journalist Adriana Rubio affirms that the Oregon Cowboy as well as the claims of Gerald Pitts from rodeoswest.com are true. She just found a big puzzle full of irregularities and lies where many pieces seemed to be missed. However, Rubio is still trying to put the pieces together especially now when former manager of The Rock' n 'Roll Circus, Sam Bernett, came out the closet AFTER 36 YEARS saying that Jim Morrison died of a heroin overdose!

Even though Journalist/Author Adriana Rubio has worked on this completely alone, during the course of a three years investigation, she asked for help to some American Journalists and well known published authors who wrote about Jim Morrison.  Many of these ones were very disrespectful and even one of them laughed at her over the telephone! We believe they misunderstood the course of the investigation since many of them are used to inform people the way we explained above. Whatever the reasons are for them to act that way, Journalist/Author Adriana Rubio didn't give up. She is working on what we currently call "The Jim Morrison Manual Case". 

Adriana Rubio has copyrighted the whole investigation in her name since she has worked on her own with no partners, affiliates or members of any media group. Among many things done during the investigation process, Rubio interviewed a man called Gerald Pitts from rodeoswest.com for the “Jim Morrison Ceremony” book. Gerald Pitts couldn’t answer much of the questions! However, he gave enough information to make the mystery even more interesting without taking into account that he was talking to a journalist! In fact, he knew he was talking to a journalist, but he never thought that this journalist in particular would incur into such a big investigation overseas!
On December 14th, 2005, just six months after the publication of the "Jim Morrison Ceremony" book, Rubio finally got in touch with the supposed Jim Morrison and his wife. This is what they said:

"We met Gerald Pitts as mutual friends. In the course of a year we determined that he was not honest and forthright with us. He was fired effective December 31st, 1999. We have completely disassociated ourselves from Mr. Pitts and his friends and his family. We have nothing to do with Gerald Pitts! 
“A Current Affair” representatives came to our home unannounced on three days in a row this past March and were denied interviews or photos. They attempted to take photos from our neighbors property. Their June 2005 episode on FOX TV featured Gerald Pitts and made a FARCE of the entire thing! 
In any case, We have nothing to do with Gerald Pitts! My husband previously had expressed an interest in meeting with Ray Manzarek. Unfortunately, Danny Sugerman (now deceased) interfered with that in 1996”.

As we said before Adriana Rubio searched for "evidence" and she really did. The evidence was presented to the Morrison Family Attorney at Law along with a letter addressed to Andrew Morrison, brother of Jim Morrison. She also notified about the findings to The Doors current manager Jeff Jampol.

The "supposed" Jim Morrison, lives under a false name. This man is on probation for unlawful use of weapons and due to this, the Oregon Department of Corrections has collected material for DNA purposes as they do with every offender that enters at the Correction data base.

Unfortunately, Morrison’s Attorney at Law along with the Morrison Family decided to do NOTHING about it. It means that they WON'T DNA the man in Oregon. And, "surprisingly", just a few months after Adriana Rubio presented the evidence to the pertinent people, this man Sam Bernett appears with the tale of the "heroin overdose", a tale he kept at secret for 36 years! Why?
  
It has been said for years that no one is authorized to exhume and/or move Jim Morrison’s grave and not even after the 30th anniversary of his death. It has also been said that Jim Morrison’s grave can’t be moved because it is considered “Historical Monument” since it is a tourist destination of choice, etc. You know, business! However, there is a document that was filled by the American Embassy in Paris, France, on August 11th, 1971 addressed to Jim Morrison’s father rear Admiral George S. Morrison, saying that the remains of his son may be disinterred at any time upon the request of a nearest relative or legal representatives of the estate.

Anyways, whatever the reasons the Morrison Family have to not look into the grave, we don’t understand why they won’t DNA the man in Oregon. Identity Theft and Internet Fraud are considered Federal Crimes. We certainly know that many of you have purchased the VHS Video Tape Gerald Pitts is selling through his rodeoswest.com website claiming to have discovered Jim Morrison alive and that the two of them have an agreement together. Many of you have paid for a VHS Video Tape to see “Jim Morrison”, right? The “supposed” Jim Morrison appears for seconds in which it is quite impossible to recognize him, right? The rest is shown on photographs along with some Gerald Pitts speeches and even worse the supposed man you wanted to see in action is shown on drawings made by Pitts’ son Shane Pitts. What are you going to do about it especially now? We have told you here that Journalist/Author Adriana Rubio searched for evidence and found the most precious treasure of it: The name this Cowboy in Oregon lives under, his current court records and even more encouraging the report provided by the Oregon Department of Corrections in which it is stated that material for DNA purposes have been collected. How about sending a “Petition Letter” to the Morrison Family Attorney at Law to DNA this man in Oregon?  Get involved and put an end to this “bad smelling” story!
